Redevelopment Plan Adoption, Amendment and Implementation

Overview

We advise redevelopment agencies in connection with the adoption of redevelopment plans for new project areas and the amendment of redevelopment plans to add territory, extend eminent domain authority, extend time and financial limits and effectuate fiscal mergers.

We assist with compliance with legal requirements, including CEQA; the preparation and review of reports, plan documents, ordinances and resolutions; negotiations with taxing entities; and the development of implementation plans and strategies.   We have worked collaboratively with consulting firms including Keyser Marston, Seifel and Associates, RSG, and many others.
