Michael J. Minkler
Overview
Michael Minkler is a skilled attorney with experience managing all aspects of land use law. Prior to joining Meyers Nave, he was a solo practitioner and represented a community organization as lead counsel in litigation concerning the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Michael also worked as an associate at Remy, Thomas, Moose and Manley, where he counseled public and private sector clients on issues related to land use planning and local governance, including the review of Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs) and litigation.
Michael is a volunteer moot court judge and attorney coach for the Gorden D. Schaber Moot Court Competition and the Center for Youth Citizenship’s Youth Court Program. He has conducted training on The Brown Act for the Sacramento County Housing Alliance. He is also an active volunteer with Project Great Outdoors, and a member of the Tuolumne River Trust.
